What is the Favicon Generator?
A website needs more than one icon: favicon.ico for browsers, 16 and 32 pixel PNGs for tabs, an Apple touch icon for the iPhone home screen and 192 and 512 pixel icons for Android. Upload one logo and get all of them in one ZIP, plus the link tags for your page head.
How to use it
- Choose your logo or drop it on the box (a square picture of 512 × 512 px or more is best).
- Choose to crop the middle of the logo or add space around it, with a transparent or coloured background.
- Download the icons one by one or all in a ZIP, and paste the shown code into the head of your pages.

Which sizes are created?
favicon.ico (16, 32 and 48 px), favicon-16x16.png, favicon-32x32.png, apple-touch-icon.png (180 px), android-chrome-192x192.png and android-chrome-512x512.png.
Where do I put the files?
In the root folder of your website, so that /favicon.ico opens. Then add the link tags to the head of your pages.
My logo is not square, what now?
Choose Adding space around it, so the whole logo is kept inside a square.
